We are delighted to be re-opening our facilities once again and look forward to seeing you!
We will be following all published guidelines where they can be applied and we recognise that some procedures will be different to how we would operate normally but our over-riding priority is the safety of all concerned so your patience and understanding is appreciated. Please read all the information below to ensure you have a trouble-free visit.
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 8.00pm
Saturday/Sunday – 8.00am to 4.00pm
ALL BOOKINGS WILL BE VIA THE ON-LINE BOOKING SYSTEM THAT WAS IN USE PRIOR TO LOCKDOWN
All members can book a gym session on-line by following these instructions:
- Select ‘court bookings’ from the menu
- Select ‘Sign In’
- Enter the email address you used when you took out your membership
- Select ‘Forgot your password’ and enter your email address and select ‘Send Reminder’
- You will receive an email from the system allowing you to set up a password of your choice
- Once completed return to step 1 and 2 above and enter the email address and password you have created.
- Select ‘sign in’
- Select ‘make a booking’
- From the drop down list select ‘Gym/Fitness Classes’
- Select the date required and click on the time of the session you wish to book (note the number of bookings available is shown and there is a limit of 15 bookings per session)
- Follow the prompts to confirm your booking – it is important that you always select ‘finish’ at the end of this process otherwise your booking will not be recorded.
After you have completed the registration process you will start at step 7 for future bookings
Admission to the gym will be by appointment only and sessions can be booked up to 7 days in advance
Sessions are limited to a maximum of 15 members at any one time in one hour blocks So for example the first session every morning will be from 7am until 8am and the next session starts at 8am until 9am and so on throughout the day .
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to book a session members will only be allowed to book one session per day however should there be capacity in other sessions gym staff will have the option to allow members to continue into the next session. It is important that every member leaves the gym promptly after their allotted session if asked to do so.
Entry to the gym will be via the door which gives access from the disabled parking and exit will be via the same doors. Hand sanitiser will be available at this location and also inside the gym. A hand held electronic thermometer is in use and members must agree to checks as appropriate.
All members should arrive ready to exercise and where possible leave all personal belongings in their car although the changing rooms will be available for use if required. A water bottle and towel will be allowed in the gym which should be kept with you at all times. No bags will be allowed inside the gym. Water/hydration fluids will only be available to purchase in the gym so members are advised to bring their own filled bottles. Group training sessions will not be allowed. A face covering should be worn if you leave the gym and enter any other part of the building.
We will be alternating the use of equipment during sessions to allow equipment used in the previous session to be cleaned by staff ready for use in the following session. All members are asked to clean all equipment before and after use to ensure the very highest hygiene standards are maintained.
The gym will be deep cleaned every evening ready for use the following day.
With your comfort and safety in mind we are having a new hi-tec ventilation system installed throughout the premises which should be fully operational when we reopen. This system which has cost £50,000 funded by Sport England from a successful grant application will ensure the air circulation in the club is constantly fresh thereby reducing the risk of contamination from air-borne viruses. We hope this additional measure will provide further reassurance and confidence in the use of the facilities.
We want your return to the gym to be as pleasant and hassle-free as possible and although we do have to implement some measures which will be strange to begin with we will do all we can to ensure the impact is as minimal as possible.
