Pontefract Squash Club enjoys an international reputation, Lee Beachill three times British Champion and former World No.1 and James Willstrop former World Junior No.1 representing the club at the highest World levels.
We have 8 squash courts including 5 glass backs.
Our club caters for members and guests of all ages and abilities whenever you decide to take a step into the club you will be sure of a warm friendly greeting.
The club is officially recognised as a Centre of Excellence and one of the few select clubs, which have been granted Gold Charter status by the sports governing body, England Squash.
The Coaching at the club is under the direction of Malcolm Willstrop, acknowledged as one of the Worlds leading coaches and as a coaching programme that caters for all
Standards and ages that is accepted as one of the best in the country, attracting players from all over the world.
The club is well represented in Yorkshire and Leeds Metro Leagues and has its own internal leagues, so there is plenty of opportunity for competitive squash as well as the social squash on offer.
