Welcome to Summer League 2024
Below, you will find all the information for the Pontefract Squash & Leisure Club's Summer League 2024.
Summer League is a handicapped, internal tournament, designed to get club players on court to play against people of all ages & abilities. We have run this summer league very successfully for many years & know that this year will be even better!
You will find all match times & courts printed on posters throughout the club - please visit PSLC's reception to discuss any queries you may have surrounding this year's Summer League!

Dates:
The championship will run from Tuesday, May 21st, through to Finals night on Tuesday 9th July! This is a great chance to watch & play against people you may not normally see, as well having fun in a relaxed & friendly environment!
Entry Fee:
As ever it is FREE, for members of the club to enter the Summer League.
Competition Format:
Our Summer League is an 8 team league where every team will play each other once and after the finals night on Thursday 11th July - the team with the most wins will be crowned champions!
Each game will be handicapped to provide every opponent a chance to win their games, and more importantly, have a chance to enjoy themselves on court. Games will be best of 5 - point a rally & scored to 11.
Club Captain Ella Grayson will be looking to retain her title in 2024 as winning captain, but will be up against some serious competition!
Friendly, Relaxed & Fun To Watch
We’re counting on your support to make this year’s summer league a resounding success yet again. Your participation or spectating is what makes our club community so vibrant and exciting. Food will be served throughout the league's duration, as well as various drinks offers on draught and out of the fridge! We also have 4 large TV screens which can show multiple sporting events, what isn't there to love!
